George, who has borrowed his father's treasured car, parks in a handicapped parking space. When they return, they find an angry mob plotting to attack the vehicle's owner because a disabled woman, who had to park in a distant spot because of their illegal parking, has been injured in a wheelchair accident.
George invents a preposterous story about being cut off in traffic to explain the accident. While visiting Lola, the injured handicapped woman, at the hospital, Kramer falls in love with her and feels compelled to replace her wheelchair.
Ray, the wheelchair salesman, offers the Cougar 9000, «Rolls Royce of wheelchairs». This model is so good, that you're almost glad to be handicapped.
The Cougar 9000 -rated number one by Hospital Supply and Prosthetic Magazine- is equipped with inductive joystick, dynamic braking, flip-up arms, and it's fully loaded. Ray put Stephen Hawking in one of these two months ago.
The fantastic wheelchair costs $6200. George and Kramer finally buy a used wheelchair of a cheap model.
