Marcy was George Costanza's girlfriend in this episode, and she had a trait of uttering "yada yada yada" to shorten her stories; a trait that George himself adopts when referring to his prior engagement to Susan Ross (which ended with Susan's passing). George's affinity becomes suspicion when Marcy uses "yada yada yada" while referring to her ex-boyfriend, leaving him wondering if they had sex.
However, Marcy revealed what she had left out: her ex was moving away and she was helping him, hence why she was tired. George then informs Marcy to retell her past stories with nothing left out, and in doing so, Marcy reveals herself as a habitual shoplifter. Her story about her being on 3rd avenue revealed that she stole an expensive watch from Bloomingdale's, and on this new high from her petty crime, the evil Marcy went to a salon to get a massage and facial, only to skip out on the bill (the "free facial" she mentioned earlier). George was visibly stunned by Marcy being a shoplifter, only for the villainess to ask George about what he left out regarding the end of his engagement to Susan.
Regarding Marcy's fate, George responded to Jerry's question about her by stating that she was shopping for some shoes, and he would see her in 6-8 months, implying that she was arrested for attempting to steal a pair.
