In Monk's, Jerry orders only a veggie sandwich and a grapefruit. He's turning into a healthy person. But he's also dating Holly (Elaine's cousin) who is a serious carnist.
Holly is also the favorite grandchild of grandma Memma (another carnist) who used to take her grandchildren to Old Homestead Steak House after a matinee.
In Holly's apartment there's a lot of Memma' things: the candelabra (that Memma bought on her trip to Europe in 1936), the study, the coats and, probably, the napkins.
