Jerry is basically a child trapped in a grown man's body, and good evidence of that would be him wanting things he cannot have — like playing with his girlfriend's antique toys. The girlfriend, Celia refuses to let Jerry play and he ultimately puts something in her drink to make her sleep so he could play. Obviously, she wasn't pleased and ended things. Can you blame her?
