Elaine's ex-boyfriend Roy is an artist. A triangle artist. He is in the hospital for surgery on his spleen. Elaine dumped him because he was fat.
Noticing that Roy has slimmed down due to depression from her breaking up with him, Elaine becomes interested in dating him again, but later she decides to cancel her date with Roy, whom she observes eating enthusiastically again in his hospital room.
