Kim works at a Korean nail parlor where Elaine brings Frank Costanza to translate what the Korean manicurists say about her.
Frank and Kim had a romantic relationship in Korea, during the war. Kim recognizes Frank's voice when he screams at the Korean women and they reunite after many years of not seeing each other. The reunion fails when Frank stop-shorts Kim and grabs her boobs.
It's later revealed that the reason to why their relationship didn't work out in Korea was because Frank refused to take off his shoes due to his potential foot odor problem.
