Mr. Pitt forces Elaine to identify a song played in a radio contest. The winner will become the eighth person to win a spot holding the rope under Woody Woodpecker balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Elaine wins and has to pick up the price (for Mr. Pitt) at Dixieland Deli where the passes will be delivered after the music.
The band starts playing directly behind Elaine. She is deafened by the loudness of the horns. One of the most enthusiastic players is the trumpetist.
