Blaine is one of Elaine's boyfriends. She hates The English Patient, but he loves it. Elaine catches him out of the theatre, carrying an umbrella, with two of her friends. The trio just enjoyed The English Patient, and Blaine says to Elaine: «Well, to tell you the truth Elaine. I don't know if I can be with someone who doesn't like The English Patient».
