Stephen Root

Stephen Root is Mr. Lager, the manager of Federal Home Savings Bank, in The Invitations (Season 7 Episode 24).

Mr. Lager is the manager of the bank that offers anyone $100 if they are not greeted with a "hello".

Kramer goes to the bank and upon being greeted with "hey" instead of "hello", he demands $100.

After consulting with the other employees, all of whom use various non-hello greetings, Mr. Lager compromises by giving Kramer $20.
